TurnKey Payments

Connect payments to the software you already use

When your terminal talks to your point-of-sale or billing software, staff stop retyping amounts and your records match your deposits. [PLACEHOLDER: Confirm which integrations TurnKey supports before launch]

Who it's for

An integration is worth setting up when card payments are frequent and the sale already lives in software.

  • Retailers and restaurants on a POS system that supports external terminals
  • Service businesses that invoice from accounting or practice-management software
  • Businesses that take payments online as well as in person
  • Software vendors who want to add card acceptance for their customers

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us what you use

Send us the name and version of your POS, accounting or booking software. We check whether it connects to the terminals we offer.

  2. Step 2

    Choose the connection

In-person sales usually use a semi-integrated terminal. Online and keyed payments use a payment gateway.

  3. Step 3

    Test before you go live

We set up the connection and run test transactions before you use it with customers.

  4. Step 4

    Get help when it breaks

If the connection stops working, call the same support line you use for your terminal.

Ways to connect

The right connection depends on your software. These are the usual options with the equipment we offer.

  • Semi-integrated terminals

With Dejavoo's SPIn interface, compatible POS software sends the sale amount to the terminal, and the terminal sends back the result. Card data stays out of your POS. [PLACEHOLDER: Confirm TurnKey offers SPIn integrations]

  • Online payments

Dejavoo's iPOSpays platform handles online and keyed payments alongside your terminals. [PLACEHOLDER: Confirm which iPOSpays features TurnKey offers, e.g. online checkout, virtual terminal or payment links]

  • Clover apps

Clover devices run Clover's own point-of-sale software, and you can add apps from the Clover App Market for things like inventory and scheduling.

  • Your industry software

What an integration costs

Costs depend on your software and how it connects. Some software providers charge their own fee for payment connections. [PLACEHOLDER: Integration pricing, or a note that integrations are quoted per project]

  • We confirm compatibility before you commit
  • Software fees we know about are shown on your quote

Not sure your software connects?

Book a consultation and tell us what you use. We'll check compatibility and explain the options before you commit to anything.

Questions we hear

The questions merchants ask us most. Ask us anything else on a call.

What does semi-integrated mean?

Your POS sends the amount to the terminal, the customer pays on the terminal, and only the result goes back to the POS. Card numbers never pass through your POS, which can reduce what your POS has to meet for PCI compliance.

Will my POS work with a Dejavoo terminal?

It depends on the software. Send us the name and version of your POS and we'll check whether it supports Dejavoo terminals before you buy anything.

Can I take payments online and in person?

Yes. Online and in-person payments are often set up as separate accounts so each gets the right pricing and reporting. [PLACEHOLDER: Confirm how TurnKey sets up combined online and in-person processing]

Do integrations cost extra?

Sometimes. Your software provider may charge for its payment connection, and some setups need a specific terminal model. We show any costs we know about on your quote.
