Card processing

How much will card processing cost my business?

It depends on your card mix, average sale, monthly volume and the pricing structure you choose. We ask for your last three processing statements so we can prepare an accurate quote, and we go through every rate and fee with you before you sign.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

Terms depend on the program and equipment you choose. We show you the agreement length and any early termination fee before you sign. [PLACEHOLDER: Confirm standard agreement length and early termination fee policy]

Can I keep the terminal I already have?

Sometimes. Many terminals can be reprogrammed for a new processor, depending on the model and whether you own it or lease it. Tell us the make and model and we'll check. [PLACEHOLDER: Confirm policy on reprogramming merchant-owned terminals]

How long does it take to get set up?

Most of the time goes into underwriting, which depends on your industry and paperwork. Having recent statements, a voided check and your ID ready speeds things up. [PLACEHOLDER: Typical time from application to first transaction]

What is interchange?

Interchange is the fee the card-issuing bank receives on each card sale. The card networks set the rates, and they vary by card type and how the card is accepted. Every processor passes interchange through. What differs is how the processor's own markup is added on top.

What is the Pay Net Zero program?

Pay Net Zero is our name for programs that offset card processing costs, either by offering customers a discount for paying cash or by adding a card fee where the law and card network rules allow. Rules differ by state and by card type, so we review what applies to your business before you start.

Do you work with high-risk businesses?

Yes. We work with industries many processors turn away, including CBD and firearms. Approval depends on underwriting, and some accounts may need a reserve. We explain the requirements before you apply.

Can my customers pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay?

Yes, on terminals with a contactless (NFC) reader. Most of the Dejavoo and Clover devices we sell accept tap-to-pay cards and mobile wallets. Check the terminal's specs or ask us about a specific model.

Do you work with businesses outside Florida?

[PLACEHOLDER: Confirm the states or regions TurnKey Payments serves]

Do I buy or lease the equipment?

[PLACEHOLDER: Explain equipment options, for example purchase, free placement programs or leasing, and who owns the terminal]

Support and terminals

Where do I find my merchant ID?

Your merchant ID (MID) is printed on your monthly processing statement and usually at the top of terminal receipts. Have it ready when you call so we can find your account quickly.

My terminal won't connect. What should I check first?

Check that the terminal has power and that its internet cable or Wi-Fi is connected. Restart the terminal and your internet router, then try a test sale. If it still won't connect, call us with your merchant ID and terminal model.

How do I order receipt paper or supplies?

Send us a message through the contact form and choose Order paper or supplies. Include your business name, merchant ID, terminal model and how many rolls you need.

Where can I see my transactions and deposits?

Sign in to your merchant portal from our System logins page. Dejavoo accounts on iPOSpays use the iPOSpays portal, and Clover merchants use the Clover dashboard. If you're not sure which applies to you, call us.

Can my terminal contact support for me?

Many Dejavoo terminals can send a support request to our team straight from the device. [PLACEHOLDER: Confirm this feature is set up on customer terminals and describe how to use it]

How do I get a copy of a statement?

[PLACEHOLDER: Explain where merchants find statements, for example the processor portal, and how to request older ones]

PCI compliance

What is PCI compliance?

PCI DSS (the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is a set of security requirements for any business that accepts, processes, stores or transmits card data. Being compliant means following those requirements and confirming it, usually once a year.

Does my business have to be PCI compliant?

Yes. Every business that accepts card payments is expected to comply, whatever its size. Smaller businesses usually confirm compliance with a self-assessment questionnaire rather than a full audit.

Does a new terminal make me compliant?

Not on its own. Using a current, PCI-approved terminal helps, and it can reduce what your questionnaire covers. You still need to complete your annual validation and follow good security habits.

What happens if I don't validate compliance?

Processors may charge a non-compliance fee until you validate, and a business that suffers a data breach while non-compliant can face fines and costs from the card networks. [PLACEHOLDER: Confirm whether TurnKey's processors charge a non-compliance fee, and how much]

Do you help with the questionnaire?

[PLACEHOLDER: Describe how TurnKey helps merchants complete PCI validation, for example a portal, a provider or a support contact]

Agent program

About the agent program
Do I need experience selling payment processing?

[PLACEHOLDER: Confirm whether TurnKey accepts agents who are new to payments, and what training is provided]

How are residuals paid?

[PLACEHOLDER: Residual split, payment schedule, reporting and how long residuals continue]

What can I sell?

Card processing for retail, restaurant, automotive and specialized industries including CBD and firearms; Dejavoo and Clover terminals; and programs such as Pay Net Zero and our veteran-owned business program.

Does it cost anything to join?

[PLACEHOLDER: Confirm whether there are any fees to join the agent program]

Can I refer merchants without becoming an agent?

[PLACEHOLDER: Describe any referral-only partner option and how referrals are rewarded]
